Household Local Moves – Liability Options

Client must choose one of the 3 options described below.

  • Optional replacement value coverage at the premium quoted, (we call this coverage extra care protection). The amount of coverage is detailed in your proposal, and it is quoted with a $500 deductible. Lower deductibles are also available.
  • Optional “no premium” base liability transportation coverage of 60 cents per pound per item. This coverage is also included and no premium charged if you want it.
  • No coverage, for the fastest possible move, however your goods will not be properly covered so claim may be denied.

Options 1 and 2 both require a crew member to do a pre-existing damage survey the day of the move. That crew member’s time will be included in the final charges. Claims will be processed once moving charges are made.
